Diatecx Spa Celebrates Its Half Century of Excellence in Trentino.
Diatecx, leader in digital printing substrates, paper and film substrates for the textile industry, and glues for the packaging, labeling, bookbinding and converting industries, proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary with headquarters in Cles. Five decades of commitment, dedication and success have made the Company an icon of innovation and reliability.

Since 1973, the then “D.Mosna,” has consistently exceeded expectations, starting from a small business and becoming a global player in the fields in which it operates. “Even today, the huge investment plan that has just been completed such as the brand new 400sqm R&D laboratory equipped with the latest technologies, new production lines in the industrial adhesives sector and the replacement of the photovoltaic system with one of the latest generation, are a clear sign that Diatecx is increasingly aiming to strengthen its market positioning, paying particular attention to growth in foreign markets.” explains again Cavaliere del Lavoro Diego Mosna.
“In 2022, the Diatec Group, of which Diatecx is the beating heart, developed a consolidated turnover of about 60,000,000 €, employing 200 people in the Italian, French and Macedonian offices, with continuously improving balance sheet ratios and financial debt in sharp reduction.” explains General Manager Sebastiano Odorizzi.
To celebrate this extraordinary milestone, Diatecx organized a special event at the Historic Rotari Winery in Mezzocorona. The event was a unique opportunity to reflect on its history, recognize past successes and look ahead to an even brighter future. The ceremony was enriched by institutional speeches that paid tribute to Our past and celebrated Our promising future vision.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those who have contributed to the success of Diatecx, including our employees, customers, and business partners. Their continuous support has been essential to our path of growth and success. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the entire Trentino community, with special mention to the city of Cles, which has been the nerve center of out organization for decades.

Energy production data 2021
In 2021, thanks to the photovoltaic systems installed on our factories and the Trigeneration plant, we have avoided the emission of 949 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere, producing 2881 MWh of clean electricity, comparable to the annual consumption of a country inhabited by 2500 people.

To our President Diego Mosna the ancient seal of the city of Trento
On the morning of Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Palazzo Geremia in Trento, our President Diego Mosna was honored by the highest city authorities with the Eagle of St. Venceslao, the ancient seal of the city of Trento.
This important recognition crowns 21 years of presidency of Trentino Volley, of great sports history in Trentino and of entrepreneurial successes.
“The city but also the entire province owes a lot to Diego Mosna, who in a short time brought Trento to the Olympus of team sports, making us all volleyball fans and enthusiasts” – explained Mayor Franco Ianeselli.

Great news for medium-high viscosity industrial adhesives, here are the first granules !
We are proud to inform you that we have completed the installation of a new production line for high viscosity industrial adhesives at our factory in Via Campo Sportivo, Cles (TN).
This important investment will give further motivation to our continuous growth process, also expanding the range of products offered. It is in fact a new high-tech and innovative system, totally interconnected and automated, which will allow a significant increase in our production capacity.
Another goal achieved for industrial adhesives branded Diamelt, but the road to renovation and improvement of Diatec Group does not stop.

Energy production data 2020
Last year, the photovoltaic systems on the roofs of our factories produced 2240 MWh, avoiding the emission of 896 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
Our trigeneration plant produced 498 MWh of electricity and 573 MWh of heat, reducing CO2 emissions by 167 tons.
For a total of 1063 tons of C02 not emitted into the atmosphere.
The Group continued the root of sustainable production, using renewable energy sources.

Merger of Diamelt into Diatex
On the Diatec Group improvement process at organizational, production and commercial level, the merger by incorporation of Diamelt into Diatecx was completed at the end of 2020.
Production and marketing merge into a single reality, maintaining the Diamelt registered trademark, which will continue to underline the quality of the adhesives produced by Diatecx on the market.
With this important operation and with important investments in production and technology in this division,
Diatecx aims to be the reference point also in the industrial adhesives market.

Trentino Volley, let’s start!
The new season is coming, the Trentino Volley team will face Cucine Lube Civitanova on Sunday 13th in the first Italian Super Cup 2020 semifinal match.
The SuperLega instead will open with the away match in Padua on 27th September.

Always ready for you
Diatecx and Diamelt’s productions has been recognized as indispensable activities, so they never stoped, but today we can finally say that we are fully operative.
After two months of slowdowns and difficulties due to the health emergency, all our collaborators engaged in smart working returned to their stations, in the headquarters in Cles (TN) and in the Creazzo (VI), Empoli and Carpi (MO) filials.
This is an important step forward towards our daily life, that has been transformed in this last period.
Our Group is committed in activating the necessary measures to be able to work in complete safety and will continue to comply with all the rules and protocols established by the Health Ministry.

The road to improvement continues
In these days the first important investment of the production line N°1 has been finished. This investment aimed to increase the quality of our Hot Melt adhesives and the available formats. Our product range is now complete with this small size of he pastilles, suitable for automatic filling systems that more and more customers have installed in their production systems.
A further step on the road to the future, already outlined and oriented towards a continuous improvement of our plants, for the maximum satisfaction of our customers.

The Unitrento Volley shirt arrives in Diatecx
In the 2019/20 season, Trentino Volley presence in Serie A Championships will be doubled, thanks to the registration of UniTrento Volleyball into the newborn A3 tournament. This new challenge with the collaboration of the University of Trento, will give space to young people between 18 and 21 years of age.
The jersey that young players are wearing and with which they are achieving excellent results, has is own space in Cles’ Diatecx headquarters; Trentino Volley and the Diatec Group are supporting the project with satisfaction and pride.

Completed the production area extension in Makdia
We’re glad to announce an important step forward for the Diatec Group in the end of 2019.
It’s officially ended the extension of Makdia’s production area in Skopje (Macedonia).
The new covered area of over 4000 square meters has doubled the space available for production and logistics. The important investment was planned with the aim of developing and optimizing all production processes dedicated to the Macedonian plant.

Our stand at Viscom 2019 will represent the printing medias evolution
During Viscom 2019 (from the 10th to the 12th of October at Fiera di Milano – Rho) in the Hall 8 at the stand K19 we will represent how the evolution of supports has always conditioned the final result and allows us to express our creativity.
Our Graphic Arts range (supports for large format digital printing and technical drawing) will be in the spotlight.
The Diatecx catalog is very wide and includes photographic and coated papers, rollup / popups, backlit, banners, adhesive vinyls, as well as canvas, wallpapers and much more.
An important space of the stand will also be dedicated to the sublimation paper, a support able to stimulate inventiveness and exhort the birth of new ideas too

Diamelt Srl and Diatecx Spa companies decided to apply to the ISO 22000 certification audit
even if it’s not required in the Hot Melt adhesives industrial production.
So we are the first in Italy and one of the first in Europe to obtain this certification.

Trentino Volley raises another cup to the sky!
Last Tuesday, March 26th in Istanbul, our volleyball team Trentino Volley won their first CEV Cup.
A searched, dreamed and conquered trophy with willfulness and teamwork. And now there are 18 titles won in 19 seasons in the highest national and international competitions!
Happy and proud to celebrate once again our world champions who won the only trophy that was missing in our board of trophies!

Diatecx and Makdia at TECHTEXTIL RUSSIA 2019
Diatecx and Makdia will participate for the first time at TECHTEXTIL RUSSIA 2019, which will take place in Moscow from 19 to 22 March 2019.
The statistics of the fair, referring to the last edition (2018), showed the significant growth of visitors: Techtextil Russia together with Inlegmash toured in 7.837 unique specialists from 47 countries, recording a 37% increase compared to data for 2017. Data particularly representative of the most interest in the textile sector by the Russian market.
It will be an important opportunity to present and appreciate the Diatecx and Makdia products on the Russian market!

Last night our guys played a great final, beating Cucine Lube Civitanova for 3 sets to 1 at Hala Sportowa in Czestochowa (Poland).

We’re working for the Clothing Machinery 2018 in Istanbul!
Diatecx and Makdia will take part in the important fair in Turkey which has reached its 26th edition.
The last edition, in 2016, took place in an exhibition area of 98,000 m2 and saw the participation of many companies that are in the sector of the GARMENT INDUSTRY. Over 36,000 visitors from all over the world (73 different countries) were registered.
The Diatec Group’s stand was created thanks to the synergy between Diatecx and Makdia, which will exhibit their products of the TEXTILE sector.

The countdown is almost completed for Ipack Ima: the fair of processing and packaging technologies will also be present in the Diatec Group, with the DIAMELT brand. Our new meeting room!
In via Campo Sportivo (Cles) we have recently completed the renovation of all the offices! After having created an important space at our Customer Service in order to give to all our customer the best possible care, on the ground floor we have designed a new meeting room which we show you in a preview. We have developed a completely new soundproof room thanks to the sound-absorbing panels and a perimeter delimited by large windows – on which we have reported all our 3 divisions. We equipped our new meeting room with a design table and by a 55-inch screen that help us to get in touch more easily with each of our customers or collaborators in the world.
But we will not stop here…we want to go on with others great news!

Technological update in DIATECX!
The investment plan continues and today concerns the TEXTILE division.
Important improvements and innovations have been made both on a technological and qualitative level on the two extruders in DAITECX – Cles (TN).
This investment will lead to greater efficiency and increase of the quality level in the production of HDPE FILM (Cartene®), in particular there will be a:
better mechanical resistance of the film
automatic check of the regularity of the thickness throughout the height of the product
general improvement in the preparation and alignment of rolls

From May 29th to June 1st 2018, you will find us in Hall 5 of the 24th edition of Ipack Ima, which will be characterized by technical innovation and internationality.
Diamelt is a manufacturing and trading company specialized in the research and development, production and trading of glues and industrial adhesives for the packaging, bookbinding, paper converting, assembly and labelling industry.
Our technical staff cooperates closely with our customers in order to elaborate and provide quickly innovative solutions for their needs. Therefore, the R&D laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments for physico-chemical analyses.

Here below you can find some data,that make us particularly proud: starting from the beginning of 2017, the electricity produced by the photovoltaic plants of the Group is 2,224 MWh: this figure is higher by 1.6% compared to the first 10 months of the 2016 and is also the maximum value recorded from the installation of the plants.
Against this backgroud, the electricity produced on the roofs of our Italian plants is higher than electricity consumption.
But not only: the high performance trigeneration plant (data for the current year) has allowed to prevent emissions of more than 160 tonnes of CO2, thanks to the combined production of electricity, heat and refrigerated water.

DIAMELT looks to the future!
Additional investment in the Diatec Group continue in order to respond quickly and effectively to the demands of Italian and European market!
We are proud to introduce you the DIAMELT new homecoming: the production line of GALA thermal-bonded adhesives with a potential discharge of approximately 1500 kg/hour and innovative cooling system to minimize the discharge time and oxidation.
This will allow a significant increase of the production capacity, a great flexibility for our customers. Our Industrial Adhesive division will have starting from now on a new cutting edge ally, which will allow on one side to implement our production rande and on the other side to offer a faster answer to all our customers requests.

Three successful days for DIATECX and its new image. Like the new logo of the Group also media of the Graphic Arts and of the Textile and of the Industrial Adhesive shared the green color.

New technology at the service of the product!
DIATECX, within the investment plan launched, focuses firmly on technology to guarantee an excellent quality level of the product and to be increasingly closer to the customer and his needs.
For these reasons, we are pleased to inform our customers that the Company has equipped itself with a latest generation automatic rewinder, specifically designed for the preparation of sublimation papers.
We will naturally be available to present the details and quality improvements that this investment will bring to the finished product.
